Hi everyone,

You may have already seen this since Judy sent it out earlier this week.  I'm sorry for duplicates, but using both email lists insures we don't miss anyone. it's my goal to consolidate the two lists but I'm not there yet.  

If you haven't seen it, here's a reminder about the upcoming photo opportunity as we get our directory done. Come smile for the camera and help us reach our goal in sittings!

The many reasons why CHS needs you to let Olan Mills take your picture!

 

I.                    We want everyone in church to know who you are.

II.                  You will be helping the church just by giving some of your time.

III.                We really need our number of sittings to be high.  If we reach 100 sittings, then Olan Mills will give the church money, as well as credit that can be used towards the directory. We are over half way there! You can make a difference by signing up.

IV.                NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Simply by having your picture taken, you will receive a free 8x10 and church directory. Your participation is all that is required for the church to get credit.  Don’t spend a penny if you don’t want to.

V.                  Tell your friends, neighbors, co-workers and anyone else you think you might be able to convince to take their picture. They too will get a free 8x10, and the church another directory.

 

Some of you may not want to do it because your whole family isn’t available. This is why we would like you to come take a picture anyway:

 

A.     Your sitting will increase our numbers. If the picture they take is not the one you want in the directory, then it won’t be included.

B.      If you have a family portrait you want to submit, it can be used instead of the one Olan Mills takes. Those will not be in the alphabetical part of the directory, but on a separate page. You decide what is most important.

C.      NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  Can’t say it enough. A little of your time is all we ask for.

D.     The portrait can be given to the absent family member(s).  Something for them when they are not with you.

E.      There is a page for people who were not available, so you may submit a photo of your absent child(ren) or spouse, and they will be in the directory.

 

Here is what you need to know about submitting photos:

 

1.      If printed, then it must be 4x6 or smaller, and glossy finish is best.  If you only have one copy of the photo you wish to submit, please bring it to church and we will scan it.

2.      Digital copies are fine.  You can email it to me at yara...@hotmail.com or burn them onto a CD.  Please label the pictures so I know what to submit them as (activities, absent people) Use full names please. J

3.      If you are submitting a professionally taken picture, there must be a signed release along with it.  Most places that take pictures will have that form available.  If not, I have one from Olan Mills you can take and submit.  I cannot get the release signed for you, so make sure you get that done if this is the option you have chosen. 

4.      The deadline for turning in photos is Sunday, February 28th.

 

Your participation will make a difference.  So if you have not yet signed up for a time to have your portrait done, talk to Yara or the Church Office.
