It's been a while. I want to resume the monthly spotlights soon, but
this time, it's news, not about the reunion yet, but about planning the
reunion. The first panel meeting will be February 11th. Here are some
ideas we will be talking about from suggestions that have been sent to me:
* 5 suggestions for low cost
* 3 suggestions for summer instead of fall for out-of-state-ers
* 3 suggestion for a family event at a park
* A suggestion to form a panel
* 2 suggestions for something big without children
* A suggestion for a potluck
* A suggestion for lagoon
We might shoot for August 12-13 or August 19-20 for the main reunion
events. However, some people would like to follow the tradition of
representing our class for a 20 year reunion at the homecoming football
game. Perhaps we can resolve this by having the main events in August,
then for those that are able to come, let them also go to the football
game and meet one more time after the game for a small party. I think
most of those that want to go to the football game are local people, and
this would be easy for them.
Now, if you want to help plan the reunion, or otherwise have your say,
please respond soon to this message and let me know. The best way to
stay up to date with the latest info is to get on facebook and join the
group. If you don't have a facebook account and you are concerned about
security, I can show you how to create an account and secure it.
Otherwise, you are welcome to ask questions by sending me messages.
