Hello fellow alumni,

In this newsletter, we have:

Lost Sheep

I try to send something every so often to this list because people
change their email addresses, but forget to update the list. I'd
probably do that too, if I changed my email and if I weren't managing
the list, so I certainly understand. I've been surprised how little
email changing has actually happened. We finally have one lost
sheep. If anyone knows Kristie Lyon Breeze, let her know that her
email is bouncing and have her do one of these:

* Contact me by email
* Register on http://chsalumni.net with her latest contact info

Note that process for yourself if you ever want to change your email
on this list. If you are already registered on chsalumni.net , you
can simply update your contact info.

A Little Humor

When Hiram was about 4 years old, he woke me up with a very sad face.
One of his fishies had died. I removed the fish from the tank and
flushed it down the toilet. Then, in an effort to raise his spirits,
I said something any number of Christian parents might say. I told
him that the fish was happy because it had gone to live with Jesus.
Hiram showed me a very remarkable (and early) talent with logic. He
looked at me with a confused face for a few seconds and asked me his
question: "Jesus is in the potty?". It took a while for me to get
over the laughing and give a slightly better explanation.

Member Spotlight

I've requested a few spotlights again, and so far have one. We are
all busy with life and family, so let's all thank Annalyn Hegemann for
her time to write up a short bio. You can see all the latest posts on
our website's home page:

http://chsalumni.net

More specifically, here's Annalyn's bio and some pictures she posted:

You can also send Annalyn an email through the contact form, available
as a link when you visit the first of the above 5 pages.

Request-A-Spotlight

If you wish to post a short bio on yourself, anyone can do so. If you
don't wish to register on the site to post, you can send it to me, and
I'll put it up for you. If you want to hear about how anyone is
doing, send me a request and I'll see what I can do to put together a
spotlight. You can view a list of members here (we're up to 68 now!):

http://chsalumni.net/content/mail-list-members

If you wish to hear about me and my family, follow the link below my
name (at the bottom). I'll update my blog as early as today, or as
late as next year... OK, it'll be in the next couple of days, maybe
even today.

Thank you,

Brandon Stout

The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark
places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands
love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater.
