posted here are official modifications to the project

first modification
the "clear" marble is named "baby Joey" ... Joey may not drop ... be
kind to "him".

second modification.
because keeping all three of the major requireents necessitates using
more input ports on the controller than we have, and this would lead
to major restricitons on your creativity in solving the project's
probelm, we have relaxed those restrictions.
the three major requirements are:
all marbles go to a height of 20cm or more
lights turn on and off depending on marble transparaency, and
marbles are sorted based on marble transparency.
You should pick any two of those three to implement. You are no
longer required to do all three.
All other requirements still stand.
Related notes:
if you try to do all three anyway and are successful using only one
controller, you will earn extra credit.
there are two xtra controller boards and power supplies. If your
group wants one of those, apply to me here as a reply to this post.
One group applied for one of the extra controllers already before I
had this post "up". - group 4W (Hope is C).. If I get only one other
request, then those two groups will get the boards. If i get more
than two requests, there will be mini-presentations required to
decide which groups get them. I wil accept requests through Thursday
at the end of second period.
