nioce job everyone on your first check-in ... everyone did it via
hardcopy.

This one is here. Due Tuesday Jan. 10, end of second period. I want
a three sentence descriiption of your current project idea. for
solving the task. Thanks.

Our current project idea for the amusement park is to seperate the
three marbles coming in from group 2 into three different tracks using
sensors and lights to indicate which marble is traveling where. Then
the blue marble will go up a conveyor belt and down a spiral column
with the marble getting up the conveyor belt by it loading into a box
attached to it and traveling up the conveyor belt until it reaches the
top, the box tilts, and the marble falls out and begins the spiral.
The other two marble courses are undecided but the clear marble will
most likely take a smooth and curvy trip criss-crossing the other two
marble courses which will all eventually stop for 2 seconds and meet
up in one track in the end to move on to group 4.

Our project idea is to build a track each for type of marble.  We will change the track by the color, by putting a photocell at the start.  Then we will build a box that will slide, and then slide to the end of the board.

We plan on using three different conveyor belts for our project. Using
loops, spirals, and other maneuvers, the marble will slide across to
the other side. We will also have lights sensors and photo transistors
to indicate which marble is traveling where and how fast it is going.

Our project idea is to have the marbles enter at 4cm. above the board
and immediately be picked up by a conveyor belt that will lift them
to
a minimum height of 20cm. From there, it will travel forward and pass
under a phototransistor where it will stop for 2 seconds. Depending
on
the color of the marble, a lever will tilt to a certain angle and
send
the marble down its specified path as the light blinks, and then the
marbles will be propelled by their own kinetic energy, as well as
conveyor belts and other motors.

Our plan is to have a photocell setup so that the marble travels on a
conveyor belt and stops in front of it. When the marble is in front of
it, it reads which marble it is so it knows whether to sound a buzzer
or flash a light. We plan to have three different tracks. After
sorting the different marbles they will split into different
directions on different tracks. The clear marble will be sorted and
split off into a track traveling a flat ten centimetes and going up
and down a hill only five centimeters tall. The silver marble will
travel five centimeters on flat ground before starting a steep incline
upward to a height of 20 centimeters and going down the other side.
The blue marble will go over a ten centimeter hill, stop, and go
backwards over the hill once again before changing course and going in
a different direction. The three marbles will then converge on one
track and travel to the next section.

Our idea is that the marbles will enter our board at 6cm high, then
the marble will travel upward and gain gravitational potential energy.
If at all possible the marble will then pass a photocell/ light setup
that will work as a scanner and tell which marble is which. Depending
on the marble it will take a different track, how to do this with
straight blocks, we have no clue.

Our idea is to start the marble off by having it traverse up a
conveyor belt (Up to at least 20 cm) after arriving from group 7. The
marble will then be scanned with a phototransistor, which will
activate a turntable and send it on one of 3 different paths (One for
each marble color). The 3 tracks will come together near the end, and
will all converge at a singular end point, leading into group 1's
board.
