Subject: Thailand Concluding Observations

Dear colleagues,

I hope this message finds you well.

Please find attached the conclusions and recommendations concerning the implementation of the CRC, OPSC and OPAC in Thailand, which were adopted by the Committee on the Rights of the Child during its 59th session. The summaries of the session on Thailand which will be available on our website (www.childrightsnet.org) in the near future, will also be sent to you before the end of this week and we will be in touch to let you know how to access the archived webcast videos online.

In addition to these, you can find the press releases on the UN website: (http://www.unog.ch/80256EDD006B9C2E/(httpPages)/CBD301FF98AF69B980256EE700376D86?OpenDocument).

The documents from the examination of the reports are now available electronically. You will find the State Party Report, the List of Issues, Written Replies, the delegation list and the delegation statement (if available) and the summary records. All these documents can be found at: http://www2.ohchr.org/english/bodies/crc/crcs59.htm

If you are unable to download these documents, please let us know. The Concluding Observations will be translated into the other working languages of the Committee in the coming months. These official translations will be available on the page with all the other documents. In order to start using the Concluding Observations, you may want to see if the State party is willing to translate them into the national languages or do the translation yourselves.

Please be so kind as to disseminate these documents as widely as possible to other NGOs and other partners so that the conclusions and recommendations are widely known and used.

Thank you very much for your cooperation and hope the recommendations help you with your work!

Kind regards,

Roisin
