Dear colleagues,

As part of a pilot project for all UN treaty bodies, the NGO Group is very pleased to be webcasting the public meetings of the 59th Session of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. The live videos can be accessed through the NGO Group website using the following link: http://www.childrightsnet.org/NGOGroup/CRC/StatePartyReporting/. Please pass this link on to partners for their viewing.

Myanmar will be reviewed from 10am to 1pm and from 3pm to 6pm (GMT +1) on Thursday 19 January. To view a complete list of the countries that will come before the Committee at this session, and to view the schedule of meetings, click here. All public reviews of States will be filmed, as much as possible, in the UN language most widely spoken in the country under review.

We hope to be in touch soon to tell you more about this project and how you can access archive videos. In the meantime, please feel free to send us your feedback and let us know what you think of this tool.

Best regards,

Roisín FEGAN (Ms.)
