Can someone provide some insights on when and where Chronos or Airflow should be used instead of the other? Thanks!

Chronos is a schedule-based scheduler. Airflow is a tool for running Hive queries, primarily. If you're running a bunch of Hive jobs, give Airflow a try. If you want something more generic, give Chronos a shot.

Thanks, Brenden.

I want something reliable for production. I saw some posts mentioned reliability issues in Chronos. Can you comment on that?

Also, why Airflow is good for running batches of hive jobs?
