great function from previous version

One of the great function from previous version is to scan the html and find out links for pdf, jpg, etc.

This allows user to quickly download all the PDF (or other file type) from a webpage.

Can this be added back? the batch descriptor is only good for those links with certain pattern. There are web pages with files download links with no certain pattern but only file extension.
