Service dog with AST 1700 and ALT 1200. New CAH

My ten-year-old special needs son has a service dog Labrador who is 5 years old who was just diagnosed with Hepatitis with ultrasound not biopsy. AST 1700 and deluded 4 times, ALT 1200. Unfortunately my husband lost his job a couple years ago and not able to a great new job minimum wage. So living on low funds. I am trying to track down a good dog food for him. I found that Natural Balance makes a vegan diet. It only has 18% protein which is plant-based. Natural Balance, good food not the best food you can feed them but up there, thought it might be a good choice. Has anybody tried this food and is it recommended at all? Please help, desperate!! Only on damarin medication.
