to Chronic Active Hepatitis in Dogs

15 month old Boxer with ALT of 3029. Has anyone else experienced ALT levels this high? It seems so dangerously high. We have a biopsy scheduled for April 16th but we do not have pet insurance and the price tag is very high. Just wondering if anyone has ever had success opting to not do the biopsy with levels this high?
