Good day.

I am thinking to get a notebook. I will be using the screen reader.

1.  I will be using whatsapp
2.   MS 365 word editing and tables excel, and outlook.
3.   If I load playstore apps.  TTs engines will it work with chromvox  e.g. auto tts, espeak tts and vocalizer tts.
4.   Lastly I will be using my external HDD 5GB.  Will bean playing music, videos and karoke.
Is this possable.  Or is there other solutions.

Thanks

You can absolutely use android tts engines on a Chromebook with chrome vox. For the best experience, purchase a Chromebook with a media tech or snapdragon processor. I can tell you this from experience. My Lenovo Chromebook, which is intel based struggles to run the play store

You should have no problem running Vocalizer, I’m running that on my non-Intel-based Chromebook and it is running fine.  This may work on an Intel based Chromebook as well, I haven’t tried that.  You should also be able to play music just fine from your external drive although it may depend on how that drive was formatted.

Hope this helps,

Steve

Probably, but if you can't make a couple copies of a recovery disk there's
no point spending the money or have the seller set you up with those
copies of recovery disk. I couldn't make a recovery disk for my
chromebook and ended up having to trash the machine after a couple of
years. Restricted usb access was one of the problems that prevented this
