Hello all,
A long time subscriber, but not a frequent poster.
Wow, how Chromevox has gotten better.
I am actually posting this frome my Chromebook from last year. I don't know if the updates fixed the crashing issues, or perhaps it was the SD card in it. However, things have been smooth going for the last month or so, and I find myself picking up my Chromebook to do odd tasks now and again after work when in need of a computer. Mainly playing some games and talking with friends on Discord.
This leads me to my next point, and question. Is there a non-braille keyboard shortcut to activate the ChromeVox context menu?
I looked up some guides on how to right click on a Chromebook but the ones I've found didn't help me too much, or when I did manage to activate the context menu with my trackpad, I might chace focus, and right click on something else.
Looking at the Chromevox menu and searching for context menu lead me to a way to activate the menu, but it was a braille command. Is there a eaiser way of activating these menus or a way I can add a keyboard shortcut to ChromeVox?
If Search key space activates an item, I thought search key shift space would activate the context menu if the item had one. However, this does not seem to work, and I'm not finding how to make this shortcut key on my own.
I will keep browsing this group and see if I can file some kind of ticket for this, but thought I'd post here first in case its already been done.
I am actually getting another Chromebook delvered today, and this one will be a touch screen one which i hope works well.
Thanks all, and a happy Friday to you all.
