got myself a lenovo duet and have a question

i have no vision at all, but am familiar with bluetooth keyboards.  However, this one has me confused.  it doesn't sound like it's paired with the chromebook.  I attempt to enter my wi-fi password and it's not responding.  how can I fix this?  Also, I'm not familiar with chromebooks yet, so any good tutorials out therer?
