Hi
This morning I have updated my Selenium grid with chromedriver  98.0.4758.80 and chrome 98.0.4758.81 (Official Build)
And I have detected in my scenarios with cucumber and selenium that the sendkeys adds a strange character at the beginning
Like a square
I have tried with Selenium 4 and selenium 3
As a workarround I have moved to chromedriver 97 and it works fine

Regards
Xavier

Hi

We're getting the same issue in Katalon today, since upgrading to Chromedriver 98. It basically makes Send Keys unusable, and unfortunately we haven't got the option of downgrading Chrome. It's pretty basic functionality, so hopefully they'll fix it soon.

Kind regards

Steve J

I'm running into this bug too - hoping to force downgrade chrome & use chromedriver 97 for now.
