Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the XVIII edition of the International Latina Congress on Social Communication (CILCS 2026), which will be held entirely online (non-presential) on 16, 17 and 18 December 2026.
The official languages of the Congress are Spanish, English, Portuguese, Italian, and French.
Each author may submit up to 3 papers, either individually or as a co-author. The deadline for abstract submissions is 2 October 2026.
Accepted papers may opt, for publication in 2027, for one of 12 academic journals —3 of them indexed in Scopus— or for publication as a chapter in an electronic book published by NARCEA, FRAGUA o ESIC, all ranked SPI Q1.

PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES

FOR ABSTRACTS: an electronic Proceedings Book, ISBN 979-13-87819-09-5, which will include abstracts accepted after double-blind peer review.

FOR PAPERS: authors may choose from 15 publication opportunities (3 publishers and 12 journals):
1. Electronic book
Publication as a book chapter with one of the following publishers, at the author's choice:
All three publishers are ranked Q1 in the SPI General or SPI Communication index. The books will consist of papers accepted following an improvement process involving double-blind review by the Congress Evaluation Committee and will be published in 2027.
2. Publication in academic journals
Each journal will publish a maximum of 6 papers in 2027, subject to successful evaluation by its respective Editorial Board:
If a paper proposed for a journal is not ultimately accepted by that journal, it may be published as a chapter in an electronic book by NARCEA, FRAGUA o ESIC, at the author's choice.
PARTICIPATION OPTIONS
The oral presentation of the paper is optional and may be carried out:

By means of a video, which will be broadcast on 16 December.

Live via Zoom, on 17 or 18 December.
