does anyone have a script to auto download the new chromedriver when it's released?
is there an FTP site that we can use for download.. or only via the http site?

To download stable version, you can:
1. Get the stable version `{LATEST_VERSION}` from `LATEST_RELEASE` file content https://chromedriver.storage.googleapis.com/LATEST_RELEASE.
1. Get the stable version `{LATEST_VERSION}` from `LATEST_RELEASE` file content https://chromedriver.storage.googleapis.com/LATEST_RELEASE.
2. Get the binaries from the https://chromedriver.storage.googleapis.com/index.html?path={LATEST_VERSION}.
