Hi everyone,

I'm currently unable to download a new version of ChromeDriver, which has made it impossible to run my tests locally. Google Chrome was recently updated, but I can't update ChromeDriver because the download is being blocked.

When I try to download the archive from the official Chrome for Testing storage, I get the following error:

AccessDenied — Access denied.
We're sorry, but this service is not available in your location.

I have already tried the following:

  • downloading with and without a VPN;
  • clearing cookies and cache;
  • using Incognito mode;
  • using a different browser.

Unfortunately, none of these methods helped.

I have also experienced a similar issue with other Google services, such as Google Analytics, where I receive a 403 Forbidden error. I tried contacting Google Support about this, but their support page also returns a 403 error for me.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Are there any known workarounds or ways to bypass this restriction?

One obvious solution would be to change the VPN server/location, but I'd prefer to consider that as a last resort.

I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions.
