Hi Andrew,

I've noticed in this release there's no items named chromedriver_mac64_m1.zip as with all the other versions.

This seems to be breaking my tests (as a web developer working with Rails and a testing framework that uses Selenium under the hood), where it seems to be expecting a file at https://chromedriver.storage.googleapis.com/108.0.5359.71/chromedriver_mac64_m1.zip

Is this change in filename format going to be permanent going forward?

This has been the case since ChromeDriver 106. It was mentioned here: https://groups.google.com/g/chromedriver-users/c/JRuQzH3qr2c/m/ObvcmOpVAwAJ
I believe it was in some of the release notes somewhere too, though I don't know where.

You'll need to update your scripts accordingly.

how i update chrome on server 2012, please add a new setup file for windows server edition.

I use server 2012 r2 and now google chrome does not update on my pc / server. Google chrome company developers don't have code to find which operating system its installed. because when i run the setup it shows windows XP or windows 2000 but i use server 2012. update the setup file and find which operating system it's running on. don't show wrong operating system name when i run it on any windows server

i hope you understand what i say , and what i want

Windows Server 2012 is an ancient OS, and is out of mainstream support. The Extended support ends in under 12 months: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/windows-server-2012-r2

In any case, this isn't a Chromedriver problem.

Windows 2012r2 has the same base as Windows 8.1, so you should be able to use the installer for that version of Chrome.
