I'm intrigued by this update to the Admin Console. If I read it correctly, it's the first really effective theft deterrent for library chromebooks. Once a chromebook is stolen, you move it into a sub-organization with settings that prevent login. If a thief tries to defeat these settings by wiping the device, they find that they can't log in until the device is re-enrolled -- which, of course, takes credentials.
Is that the way you read it? I hope someone has a chance to test it out, since I won't have access to test it for a little while.

Yes, that is exactly what this option does. Once the device boots up, it goes directly to the enterprise enrollment screen. No user login, no guest login, only enterprise enrollment.
It is also a nice option if these are deployed at libraries and you have someone onsite wipe the device, With this enabled, that person cannot "accidentally" login as the guest user and waste more time by having to re-wipe the device to enroll it.
