Hello!

I was wondering if there is any new or existing solution about removing or modifying the warning message that displays on a managed chrome devices: "xx  manages this device and has access to all user activity, including webpages visited, passwords, and email."

Thank you!

I too am wondering if there are any updates on this. Back in 2022 Google said that there was a feature request in to be able to disable or edit this message. Additionally, I found this link which details such a setting, though I can't actually find the setting within the Admin console.

Is Tom Muir still around?

Hi All,

I'm still around. You cannot disable the Managed Guest Session Acceptance feature at this time.

You can add your own acceptance terms, which should replace the default language.

The policy that Taylor referenced is not available on publicly facing machines.

Thanks,

Tom

Hey Tom,

Do you know how one would go about adding their own acceptance terms? You can upload a Custom Terms of Service to Managed Guest Sessions via a txt file, but that has no effect on the Managed Guest Session Privacy Warning. It's actually on a separate screen all together.

Hi,

For those who may not be aware, the message end users see is different if managed guest session auto-launch and advanced settings are not enabled, as detailed here. To gain access to "ManagedGuestSessionPrivacyWarningsEnabled," please contact your Chrome Customer Success Manager, who will walk you through the necessary steps.

Forgive me for being naive, but how do I go about contacting a Chrome Customer Success Manager?
