to ChromeOS in Libraries
Hello,
My library is currently working to overhaul or public computer offerings. We have been operating with Dell Computers and handle print job with SAM 11 by Comprise. We are moving to Chromeboxes and administering them with the Chrome Admin Panel. Comprise has released a print solution called Chromium, meant to work on the Chrome OS. Is anyone here currently using this? what are your thoughts and experiences on this product? if you are not printing with Chromium, and you are running chrome OS computers, what is your print solution?

We are not doing print management, but I'll be interested in your results. Chromium seems like an unfortunate name choice, since there is an open source browser project by the same name.

I've heard mostly good things about LibData's solution. You'll find some discussion if you search the archives.

Jonah,

Have you gone by Forsyth County (Winston-Salem)? They have been running Chrome devices for 3 years with printing.
