Not necessarily a Chromebook question, but since we are in the realm of 1:1 computing, I went looking for a way to create a Jeopardy quiz game that the class can play simultaneously (click to buzz-in instead of raising your hand and so forth). Couldn't find anything beyond the basic Jeopardy generators I've used before.

Anyone know of anything like this that would work with the CB? I want something they are all logged into at once, which reacts to the first person who clicks.

If some eager developer is the first to create something like this, I'd gladly pay for the service.

I just had an idea after I typed this. I'll bet with a bit of work, one could make a multiplayer Jeopardy game using a shared Google Presentation. I've seen people make them with PowerPoint and hyperlinks before. Anybody beat me to this idea? Should I be the guinea pig/pioneer?

Strange, we just had this posted in our building wide e-mail.  I'm not sure if it meets your needs in terms of multi-player super functionality, but you can use this template (found by our tech specialist Renee Nolan, thanks Renee).  You could also try this web based spot another teacher found: http://www.superteachertools.com/jeopardy/index.php

Thanks, Dan.

I've used the flash game generator before, and the GPres template was exactly what I was thinking of. I may not have thought it through, though. Students can share a presentation and work on it, but I wonder if they can simultaneously view and click on the same presentation in the way I am thinking? I may be pushing Google pres a bit far, as there would need to be some mechanism for the first person to "buzz in" to be the one who answers. I suppose the chat could be used on the side to pick the first to buzz in.

Did using a shared Google Presentation ever work out for you?

It worked just fine, but not for the added functionality that was listed in this thread.
