Having a form of godliness,
but denying the power thereof:
from such turn away.
(2 Timothy 3:5 KJV)

Do not be deceived by so-called "gospels" that
in various ways sound like the real Biblical Gospel.
Those imitation "gospels" use terms that
only the real Biblical Gospel presents correctly
in not negating by opposites, common terms
such as grace and faith, and presently suppressed
terms such as the imputed righteousness of Christ.
The imitation "gospels" negate grace and faith
by causing trust in repentance, etc., for salvation,
and negate imputed righteousness of Christ by
mixing with inherent, actual, or attained,
so-called "righteousness" of self.

The imitation "gospels" deny the very core
of the real Biblical Gospel, Christ righteous for us,
and rather vainly claim salvation to be by so-called
actual personal "righteousness" in various ways.

But in the real Biblical Gospel,
the righteousness required for salvation
is entirely and totally and absolutely
that of Christ who is God, the Son,
who as our Righteous Substitute takes our place,
and is righteous for us forever for salvation:

Christ saves us the moment he gives us faith to trust him
to be righteous for us as our Righteous Substitute
taking our place forever for our salvation.
(Romans 1:16-17, 3:22-23, 4:3-6, 5:17-19,
Ephesians 1:11-14, 2:7-9, 2 Peter 1:1)

Christ must give the faith that trusts him to be
our Righteous Substitute; otherwise, no one
will ever have that faith, no matter how hard
they may try, because without that faith
from Christ, people will always trust in
their own inherent "righteousness",
whether change of mind, repentance,
surrender, making a personal commitment,
regenerated self, baptism, church, sacrament,
giving, good works, sacrifice, endurance,
all results of salvation rather than cause,
things never to trust for salvation since
all trust for salvation must be on Christ always.

Before people receive faith from Christ,
they will invariably trust in their own so-called
"righteousness", and find it impossible to trust
in Christ completely, but rather only in part.
After receiving faith from Christ for salvation,
their trust will be just the opposite:
that faith will rest entirely, totally, absolutely on Christ,
and anything that seeks to do otherwise,
will be intrusive and repulsive.

Christ has revealed that he is righteous for us
for salvation, in the real Biblical Gospel,
and that is the Gospel that Christ showed me
by saving me despite my being in
deepest darkness at the time.
That Gospel is the same as Christ showed
to Paul for preaching to the nations
and to Luther for the Reformation.
Christ has caused that Gospel to be posted
on Christian newsgroups, and at my website
along with hundreds of Gospel articles
to reintroduce people to the only Gospel that saves:

Christ gives us faith
(Ephesians 2:8, 2 Peter 1:1)
while we are yet ungodly sinners
(Romans 3:9-12,19, 4:5, 5:6,8, 11:32, Galatians 3:22)
that trusts him to be righteous for us for salvation
(Romans 1:16-17, 3:22-23, 4:3-6,11,20-25, 5:17-19,
1 Corinthians 1:30, 2 Corinthians 5:21,
Galatians 2:16, Philippians 3:9)
and that totally excludes all trust in
our own so-called "righteousness"
(Romans 3:27, 4:2,5,14,16, 10:3, 11:6,
1 Corinthians 1:29,31,
Galatians 2:21, 3:3,12,18,21, 5:2,4,
Ephesians 2:8-9, Philippians 3:3-4,7-9,
2 Timothy 1:9, Titus 3:4-7, Hebrews 4:10).
