Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It is extremely difficult to get a job promotion in Korea when
you do not drink any alcohol during office parties at work. In
some cases, if a Korean believer does not drink any alcohol
in a small and unknown company, then sometimes, they lose
their jobs or face a massive pay-cut. In my case, I do face
some prejudice at work, but I managed to survive the Samsung
culture for 5.5 years without drinking any alcohol during the
office parties at work. However, I need your prayers.
1) Please pray for me that I will really struggle to learn the
Korean language.
2) Please pray for me that I will lose more weight so that I can
have some good quality of sleep.
3) Please pray that my mother will clear up her Visa problems
so that she can come to Korea to teach me Korean every day.
4) Two years ago, my coworkers and I have submitted 5 papers.
Now, all 5 papers are still waiting to be published in limbo. It
needs
some serious revision. Please pray for the rapid publications for all
5 papers.
5) I have a patent defense presentation on Friday of May 14th Korean
Time. Please pray for my success.
6) Please pray that I will find a meaningful solar energy project at
work.
Please pray that I will successfully write up a solar energy project
proposal.
7) Please pray that I will be more joyful at work and that I will be able
to
praise God during work time by being more happy.
