Here is a brief update. 5 peeps were present for some brain storming.
CIC tree planting day set for 29 January. Adverts in Churches to start
this week. Will send a draft poster to put up. We need to organise
some fund raising events to buy trees.. also encourage people to buy
there own tree from CIC so we make a little profit may be. More
detailed meeting scheduled for next sunday 19th. We will also go see
Alinafes place in Segerege where grand planting and growing will be.
Mzuzu, Lilongwe.. can you organise something similar.... set up a
relevant committee with other interested churches??

Mzuzu is burning up. Next week we are meeting Synod guys to map way forward on CIC issues. I and Albert have managed to register atleast 10 memebers and more are comming to join CIC. We are meeting next week Tuesday to see a proposed site where we will set an offc. We are embarking on sanitation project. WE are talking with OIBM for funding and prospect are 90 percent. We will send representatives on 29 there in Bt.
 
Our iffice will have an internet so we can be communicatin oftenly. Here internet are damn slow.

No we have not side lined youat all. Actually we still waiting to here
what you guys in Lilongwe are up to this tree planting season. This
coming weekend. The blantyre team is goinng to visit some two youth
groups to tell them about the initiative. We have discussed to plan to
have the main event in Sigelege on 5th February to try and have more
time to raise funds. and also to take advantage of the month end.

So what are you up to... and why are you not on facebook anyway??

On the tree planting campaign,i am working wth a certain youth
Organisation called LIO..We are almost done with th discussions.Just
hav 2 agree on date,# of trees n type of trees(which trees do u
recomend?).Ofcourse there is issue ya malo..But wil get around
that...They help us wth the tree planting,they get free
publicity..Basicaly thats that about mitengo.Oh,personaly out of th
five trees i bought,i have managed 2 plant 1,malo...

I aint on fb,why?Wel,mayb am kinda old fashioned..mm thing is i am not
ready 4 it..Maybe i wil embrace it kutsogoloku..
