Daniel 1: 8
Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself-this decision precedes God's choice to  favour Daniel.
Decisions are all it takes to bring into effect any good thing and can be done within a second.

There were many Israelites who are captives in Babylon but Daniel and his three friends alone decided to stand in as Intercessors and Servants of God. We will need to make personal decisions to stand for God especially today where we don't have many believers like Daniel

Prove thy servants 10 days(v 12)
How do we build trust with God (our fellow men?)?
It is by becoming people that can be trusted by God. Trust is two-way, and in the process of becoming who God can trust, we learn to trust him in return. (God help us!) This goes also for our relationships with  our fellow men.
The nature of denominations present in today's church generation is the reason for so many doctrines
If we all preach the same bible, we may not have so many variations we see today

In a world of so many variations, doctrines (all denominations included) and kinds of believers.
The bible is the physical point of view to know a Christian.
The fruits of the Spirit is another. The fruits that believers portray spells him/her  and cannot be hidden. It is spiritual and can easily differentiate those who are Christians.

Our primary aim, becoming like Christ is really becoming what the bible has written. (Not denominations or men).
