Internal and external

Our minds are equipped with judgment, will, choice, determination,
intellect and reason which give us internal and external perception.
Our external perception is by appearance and our internal perception
is with intuition. Appearances by themselves limit our possibilities
so we are told to judge not by appearance alone. Therefore, internal
perception is very important because whenever the mind is open to the
soul, it receives instruction directly from the center and source of
everything. It is the microcosm within the Macrocosm. The soul is
aware of everything that has ever happened to us, in close proximity
to us and far from us, and so it is better equipped to guide us on our
way. Our deficient human attitudes bind our minds with false notions
and keep us in the lower layers until our individual consciousness
lifts us above the law of mediocrity to receive the soul. We cannot
have total fulfillment and joy until we can see everything united
within the soul. The Essence of the soul is invisible, but the
substance of that invisible soul is seen and heard and is a part of
our life.

I am poor with hand tools, but even less astute with spiritual ones.
I just cannot see me developing my consciousness to the point of it
being able to receive my soul. I am not in that league. Furthermore,
I will never be, nor do I want to be. "Soul" is not merely upper
level, it is divine-connection level. From what communication I have
had with my own spirit, I know that it is much more related to my
objective intellect than is my soul. I will compare my soul with a
nimbus tenderly lodged within my corporal community of physicality and
spirituality. I know my soul is there. I know what positively
influences it and some of my actions that will " . . . keep it
happy." I might burn paper or dead leaves which smoke floats into the
nimbus, but certainly not old tires.
