Alabama Book on its way to me

After Camp DoReMi, I was talking on the phone to my mom. She and my dad moved to Georgia from Birmingham, Alabama several months ago. I asked her if my dad had his mother’s (my grandmother’s) 1958-edition Deason/Parris CH book (the “Alabama Book”). She said no: she thought I had it! I told her no, I wouldn’t have asked my dad to part with that. We ended the conversation, hoping that my cousin has it, but neither one of us very sure.

So I turned to eBay and found one that is in pretty good condition, and it’s on its way to me. Sure would like to know that someone in the family has my grandmother’s copy: maybe my mom will find it as they continue to unpack—fingers crossed. But at any rate I’ll have a copy just for my own shelf.

She would have absolutely loved Camp DoReMi. Grateful to you all by helping me connect with her by connecting with other CH singers.
