All -- It has been a quiet month on the website. Presumably you were out singing, not just sending bits around the interwebs. The four sets of minutes that came in: cherokee-2026-05-03, etowah-spring-2026, furman-2026, middle-creek-2026 (see via: https://www.christianharmony.org/minutes/2026minutes.html ).
The big news in our world is all courtesy of Jeremiah Ledbetter.
(1) He's done a big revamp of https://shapenotesingings.com/, the go-to site for shapenote singing schedules. Kevin Isaac gives a good overview: https://www.singloud.org/2026/05/major-upgrade-to-shapenotesingings-com/
(2) Jeremiah has put up a staggeringly great set of Christian Harmony recordings -- over a thousand! -- on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@TheChristianHarmony His announcement on Facebook:
"Mike Spencer gave me a trove of recordings he's made over the years. I have edited them into albums for each singing and have uploaded them to archive.org for your download.
"The Christian Harmony all-days have been added to a YouTube channel. Selected recordings with sheet music for each available song in the book are also uploaded to a playlist.
"So many of the Christian Harmony songs did not have a recorded version online previously. I've loved exploring more of the book as I worked through these recordings."
