Re: Assistance with US survey ethics

Dear colleagues - I am reaching out for your assistance.

I am a UK based researcher currently, conducting paper-based surveys into the generalised lack of of traditional African instruments in African, and African diaspora congregations in the UK, South Africa and the US. I have participant congregations for the US leg lined up for June this year.

For ethics In the UK I am covered by Liverpool University (where I work) and a partnering academic author at Wits University (Johannesburg) covers South Africa. We had a partnering academic in the US who was preparing the approval for us, to run our in-person surveys in June. However they have run into some personal challenges and have recently effectively withdrawn from the project.
