"Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born
again he cannot see the kingdom of God." - John 3:3 ESV.

There is a great emphasis on the term "BORN AGAIN" in the scripture
that we cannot overstate. The verse above makes it clear that a person
that is not " BORN AGAIN" CANNOT see the kingdom of God, meaning that
the person does not have the ability or the capacity to see the
Kingdom.

I have heard well meaning and sincere christians say "a person is like
a jury hearing arguments from the Lord Jesus and arguments from the
devil, and the person then make a choice to either follow Jesus, or to
reject Jesus." Of course this statement is false and has no basis in
scripture.

John 3:3 clearly states that being BORN AGAIN must come before a
person is able to see the Kingdom. Therefore there is an important
question that I would like to ask.

How do you know if you are BORN AGAIN?

I believe that I'am and know that I'am born again because I have
accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and thank him for taking on all my
sins by dying on the cross. Question:In John 3:5 Jesus speaking to
Nicodemus "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God
unless he is born of water and of Spirit."
Does this mean that being born again is a two part prosess 1st by
water than by spirit ?

John 3:5 does not refer to a two part process. BORN AGAIN is better
explained if you continue to read on in this chapter. The reference to
the water relates to spiritual cleansing, or the pouring out of the
spirit of GOD as reference in several places in the old testament.
BORN AGAIN relates to regeneration of the a human being, who was once
"Dead in his tresspasses" refer to Ephesians 2:1.

There is also another reference to "BORN AGAIN" in John 1:13, making
it clear that being BORN AGAIN is completely and fully the work of
GOD.

"But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the
right to become children of God,
who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the
will of man, but of God." - John 1:12,13 ESV.

Notice that the will of the flesh and the will of man have no bearing
on being BORN AGAIN, it is only by the will of GOD that one is BORN
AGAIN.

The question still stands, How do you know if you are BORN AGAIN???

Both times you asked this question, I think of the book of 1John. I
think if we can read this book and understand and know what it is
talking about and know with the help of God that we can live in this
way. There are some harsh, but very true words from God in this book
and I think it is a true "test" for us to know if we are born again.
If we are born again, we walk in a newness, our old self is gone. In
1John I believe he lays out exactly what our lives look like after we
are born again, and that we deceive ourselves if we continue to walk
in our old ways (frequently) without sincere confession and repentance
or without any regard/submission to God's Word and His Will.
