We use C-clamp to hold two pieces of wood roughly 3/4 of the way down on the gear leg.  Then use a car jack to lift the airplane.

Brake work is on the schedule in a month or so, when we do it I'l take some pictures and post them.

I usually jack mine during the annual when the panels are off of the bottom. I just put a scissor jack on some blocks under the horizontal part of the gear and jack it up. I have also used a big c-clamp on the gear down lower when the panels were on the plane. I didn't like that because I would put tape on the gear to keep from scratching it and a couple of pieces of wood between the clamp and the gear and if it wasn't super tight, it would slide. I also bought one of those universal spring gear jack adapters and I don't remember what I didn't like about it, but I gave it away

They make a jack for spring style gear. Works great. Just use something to protect the finish on the gear leg from scratching.

I use a socket in one of the landing gear attach bolts (nut) and a
typical aircraft jack. It is scratchfree and safe. The only
disadvantage is that one need to detach the gear fairing and slip it
down a bit on the leg.
