Hi friends, during the current recovering process, corrosion has been detected on some blind rivets used on the ailerons. Basically the corrosion develops from the center steel mandrel. Replacing the structural rivets would require to completely remove the leading edge skins. It is stage 1 corrosion. Anybody ever experienced the same finding? Alternative repair techniques instead of major sheet metal work?
