iPad mount for canopy crossmember

Any have a mounting system they really like for an iPad and which accessories are needed to make it all work.

 

Trying to avoid re-inventing the wheel (or mount in this situation)

Hi Rick...I have been flying with a mount from MyGoFlight that I bought last year at Oshkosh. It can be purchased online at mygoflight.com

I installed my ADSB out and run it on my IPad mini with Fore flight. I installed my Stratus on the left side of the cross bar for ADBS in.

I do acro with this mount no problem and it is easy to see on the cross bar.  I do have a GPS for backup on really sunny days when the IPad is difficult to see..but a glare shield on my IPad helps so it isn’t always an issue. The only thing I noticed is the IPad got too warm in the sun flying home from OSH this year. So I took it out of the mounting bracket and held it near my air vent for a few minutes and it came back after 5 mins of cooling...that was a first, but the sun was directly on the screen on a pretty hot day. Let me know if any other info / photos would be helpful.
