Feedback when p2 mic plugged in

Hi all

I have a recently developed problem on my eagle with feedback on the intercom. I have a sigtronics 200, if the p1 headset and mic are plugged in as soon as the p2 mic is inserted the feedback starts. I can squelch it out, but that means p1 and p2 cant use the intercom.

Ive checked the jacks, they are in order and match the sigtronics install manual. So my next thought is to remove the belly panels and follow the earth cable to make sure that nothing has come loose.

Short of that I'm stumped so I thought i would post here and see if anyone can share some wisdom.
