I'll be doing a short opener set with a wonderfully talented string
band I've assembled for this show - Christopher Cunningham, San
Diego's best kept secret, seriously good southern old time fiddler;
Chris Cooper playing clawhammer banjo like it should be; and "Mr.
Cool" Given Harrison on the bass fiddle. We have a set of traditional
fiddle/banjo tunes, some old songs and even a new song I wrote last
year.

And the Chocolate Drops? Well, you are in for a treat. These three
young, energetic African-American musicians met at the Black Banjo
gathering a few years back and since then have been touring together
and keeping traditional black string band music alive and kicking.
You will enjoy this show, I promise.
