Call for Abstracts | The China Health Policy and Management Society 2025 Annual Conference 1st Round Preliminary Notice

          

01 Conference Introduction

The Inner Mongolia Medical University’s (IMMU) School of Public Health and the China Health Policy and Management Society (CHPAMS) will jointly host the CHPAMS 2025 Annual Conference. This event will take place from July 12 to 13, 2025, in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China. The conference seeks to consolidate the latest research findings, innovative practices, and strategic insights from scholars, practitioners, and policymakers with the theme AI and New Technologies in Public Health: Innovations and Applications”, and aims to foster extensive academic dialogue and international collaboration, thereby advancing global health, equity, and sustainable development.

02 Conference Focus

"AI and New Technologies in Public Health: Innovations and Applications" is the theme of this conference. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has experienced enormous advancements in the last few years and has begun to disseminate to many sectors of our society. AI has the potential to transform traditional public health research and education. In the meantime, other novel technologies such as simulations, natural language processing, and novel causal inference methods can all inform public health. To take advantage of these exciting technologies, this conference aims to explore the application of AI and novel technologies in public health research, education, and practices. The agenda of the conference encompasses a broad spectrum of topics, extending to, but not limited to, AI, simulation techniques, causal inference, big data, natural language processing, cost-effectiveness analysis, epidemiology, biostatistics, global health, health policy and management, health economics, aging, nutrition and wellness, chronic disease management, maternal and child health, health equity, and digital health. The conference anticipates convening approximately 300 specialists from over 15 nations, 40 international organizations, and various universities, research organizations, and governmental entities. It is designed to catalyze profound interactions among emerging scholars and serve as a significant convening for interdisciplinary discourse within public health, aiming to chart future directions for public health and preventive medicine.

Conference Format: In-person conference with required pre-registration (for further details, please refer to the upcoming conference announcement)    

Deadline for Paper Submissions: June 20, 2025

Notification Date for Accepted Submissions: June 25, 2025

Submission Guideline:      

1. Submissions must be pertinent to the conference theme and include abstracts in Chinese or English.

2. Abstracts, in both languages, must include the title, body of the abstract, author's name(s), affiliation(s), and email address; they should be structured to present the study's Background, Methods, Results, and Discussion. The Chinese abstract is limited to 500 words, while the English abstract should not exceed 300 words.

3. Submissions will be subject to peer review by an expert panel, with exemplary papers selected for presentation at the conference.
