Good afternoon,

I just uploaded some shotgun data for analysis, but when I tried to create a new experiment, I could not get past the first page.  The species & instrument that I put into the first page for the new experiment match that of the data I included, however the 'Next' button never became visible.  Any suggestions?

Thanks,
-Jake

Hi Jake,
Thanks for the email.  I think we will need a bit more detail to try and reproduce your issue.  I just attempted to make a new experiment

I gave it a name "test" and I put it into a project I have been using for testing.  The "Next" button shows up in my case.  Can you provide a bit more info about what you are seeing?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

Good afternoon Mike,

Thanks for getting back to me on a weekend!  Hope you're not working too hard!  Here are screen shots of my attempt at a new experiment, both using Firefox & Chrome.  Any other details you'd need to figure this guy out?

Thanks,
-Jake

Thanks Jake!  I will forward this to the developers and ask them to look into this.  They might contact you separately for more details.  Thanks for being patient and working through this with us.
Cheers,
Mike

Hi Jake,

Thank you for the detailed explanation of the issue. We were able to reproduce it and it seems like there is an issue with screen resolution.
We are going to work on fixing this problem.
As a temporary solution we can offer you to resize the browser window while creating a new experiment.

To do this:

1. Press and hold down the “ctrl” button while you briefly press the “-” key.
2. Repeat this action several times until the "Next" button is visible for you.

In order to return your browser to the original zoom setting, press [Ctrl] + 0.

Hope that helps.

Have a great day,

Good morning Svetlana,

Well, that's embarrassing...  You are exactly right - my problem is my minuscule computer monitor.  Should have asked Santa for a new one this year...

Thanks for all of your help & happy holidays!

Thanks,
-Jake
