Hello,

Just wondering if Choria Server for Windows is being actively worked on and/or when we might expect a release.

The vast majority of our infrastructure is on Linux and has been running choria-server smoothly for a while now. Unfortunately, we do have a small number of Windows hosts also and upgrading everything to Puppet 6 recently has sadly led to the loss of mighty mco power on this platform.

Thanks,
Ryan

hey,

It is not actively worked on at present no, I'd consider comissioned work to get it done but without that I do not currently have piles of motivation to take on windows support.  I'd love it and I suspect its not a huge pile of work but do not have the cycles for it.  I'd also gladly assist community in creating that supported platform.

Already all tests are run on windows and they pass - though I know for a fact some paths are assuming unix for example, fixiing those might get you going.  The main hurdle for me is in packaging on windows which I know nothing about

Some things are happening on this, Smortex on Slack is busy working on it, we'd love some others to help with this effort.
