For those interested in windows I've uploaded a MSI to the github releases page.

Please consider this beta quality, for me it works, the main hurdle was upgrades which I managed to get going using the real WixTools. It also supports unattended install via msiexec.

I've a bit of tweaking to do on the look and feel but it's a good step
