Hi,

You can have a look at http://code.google.com/p/jchord/source/browse/trunk/extra/src/chord/analyses/sandbox/ReachabilityAnalysis.java.

Basically, one of the ways to do what you want is to instrument your code with the EnterMethodEvent and appropriately increment some maintained counter in processEnterMethod.
