Subject: NRI Continuation Update

Dear ABO,

Amway India has been regularly communicating with all NRI ABOs clearly stating the Compliances required to be fulfilled by NRI / PIO / OCIs by August 31st, 2015, to be able to continue their Amway business in India.

Some ABOs have been able to fulfil the compliance requirements, while others are still in the process of doing so, although the deadline for the same passed on 31 August 2015.

Compliance is a Legal requirement to secure the Amway business and to help create a conducive operating environment for ABOs. Because of this requirement, we are now constrained to deactivate the businesses of NRI ABOs who have not started the process to comply.
&#8226      For those NRIs from whom we have received some documentation, whether complete or incomplete, we will provide an additional 60 days (till October 31, 2015) to complete & submit the required compliances. After 31 October 2015, if we have not received all required documentation, we shall temporarily deactivate their businesses, and post December 31, if documents are not in order, these shall be fully de-activated.
&#8226         For those NRIs, from whom we have not received any documents, we regretfully have to temporarily deactivate their businesses effective 1 September 2015. For such deactivated NRIs, if they are able to fulfil the necessary compliances before 31 December 2015, Amway shall reactivate their businesses. Post 31 December 2015, if compliance documents are not in order, these businesses shall be fully de-activated.

We seek your understanding of the circumstances that have contributed to the changes required and the decisions arising out of the same. If you have questions regarding any of the requirements, please write to us at  Amwayindia communi...@amway.com

Regards
Amway India
