Why It Should be in Horizon and How it Relates to Modifying the Xbox 360: I saw a number of people looking for an editor or for someone to give them a save with max money and runes, but they either have to find a save that is already done/partially done or restart the whole game with Max everything.

I can't believe this worked. Fantastic detective work. However, I think it would be a shame for anyone to not see all of the new boss mechanics that this difficulty added. So I still recommend playing on Honor and not cheesing it with custom settings, but to each their own.

Edit: Nevermind, I shouldn't post when I'm tired. For some reason I thought that you had to delete the save file on your PC and then re-sync from you PC. Re-reading in the morning this isn't the case. There's nothing remotely questionable here; carry on.

All that you are doing is uploading your save to your Larian account, which is a built-in feature supported by the game and Sony, deleting your in-game save, and using the synced save that was previously uploaded. The reason it works is because the fail flag is stored on a file that doesn't get uploaded. Thus when you download the save, there is no fail state.

As for the actual PC modification stuff, I don't think you could transfer a wacky save like you are describing to PS5, but I'm not sure how that kind of stuff works. That said, if you could, it would violate the rules of the site, but to be fair, this is true for every game that supports cross-saves with PC. Other games I can think of are CDPR games (The Witcher 3 or Cyberpunk 2077) would also have the same possibility. Either way, this isn't related to what the above exploit does.

No worries! I believe you were the first to report this issue, and it's one of the reasons I began looking into it. Glad you can have fun on your final playthrough again!

FYI - Squirlruler from CRT has reviewed this exploit and confirmed it's fine to use:

But didn't get the achievement after talking to Withers and watching the end credits. Is it too late in the game at that point? If so, I assume there's no way to use this trick to convert a non-honor game into honor?

First, I created a Honour Mode Custom Rules save, which meant my Golden Dice were removed since I did the exploit again. Then, I finished the game using this save.
Afterwards, my Golden Dice were added again, so I think it's very likely that the Foehammer trophy would unlock as well since it has the same unlock requirement.

I'm not worry for Critical Hit trophy since I did obtain it on my 1st loop, plan to make the 2nd loop go for Honour Mode, guess I will give a try your sharing method now. ?

Amazing, it seems like at some point my party wiped and i closed the game from desktop witch made it into a custom game or something i have no fking clue

No settings were changed though so i have been playing ''Pure Honour mode'' the whole way through...

I'm glad there was a fix for this.. was not tempted to play another 60-80 hours doing this shiet again LOL

So my buddies save on PC got bugged out on Ketheric. We dropped him to 0 in one turn and his cutscene didnt activate. So he was stuck at 0. During trial and error attempting to push him, we killed ourselves but copied the save before.

We beat the game last night and did not get the achievement. I've tried deleting the profile file and still can't get the dice/achievement to trigger. Unless we are trying the exploit incorretly, is there anyway we can salvage our 65hour run? We never wiped and cleared the whole game.. Bah

edit: just used the file converter and edited the text. Looks like every time my profile8 file would load, it would still have every dishonored run on it. Got my dice and achievement off a saved custom mode swap.

But, it sounds like the main save was on your buddy's PC, and you were joining via the Multiplayer menu. I suspect, upon joining the session, his game informs yours that the save is dishonourable since he hadn't deleted his profile8.lsf file yet. I imagine if you had both deleted your profile8.lsf files, then started the game, and you joined him, that this exploit would have worked as expected.

"That has to deal with most of these deals even in the stores can also be had online. My personal preference is to keep your pajamas on, load up the Internet browser, and look for the deals you want online," Murph says.

"One deal that did catch my eye: Best Buy has a 15" Lenovo laptop for $187," Murph says. "It's not the best laptop -- it's pretty thick and chunky, doesn't have the best battery life. But it's a Windows laptop for $187. If you just need to do the bare minimum -- office chores, keeping up with Facebook -- that's a pretty astounding deal.

"There are also a lot of discounts on video game consoles because the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 and the Wii -- they're all sort of nearing the end of their life cycle," says Dan Ackerman, senior editor at CNET.com. Look for prices under $200 with bundled equipment like Kinect or games.

"At Walmart, they very rarely discount new games: they're usually $59 and that's it," Ackerman explains. "But on Black Friday, they have a whole stack of them -- really recent stuff -- like Dishonored, XCOM, Borderlands II for $25. I can't remember the last time I saw brand-new games cut by more than half."

"Specifically at Sam's Club, they have an HP Pavilion 14" sleekbook -- a really nice laptop with an Intel Core i5 processor for $399, which is probably about half what I would normally expect to pay for something like that. If you're interested in Windows 8, at Best Buy they have an Acer Aspire V5 for about $500 with a touchscreen."

"If it's something you genuinely need and were genuinely looking to get to begin with, then using Black Friday to save a few dollars is not such a bad deal," he says. "But to go out and blow a lot of money on stuff you didn't really need to begin with, you might regret that when the credit card statement comes a month from now."
