- Currently looking for voice actors and other production members for this fandub of the 1983 football/soccer anime short movie, Captain Tsubasa: Europa Daikessen.
- Note that the movie takes place after the first first half of the series (up to episode 56) but BEFORE the timeskip so the male characters are young boys and most will require female VA's including Tsubasa himself.
- Also note that there are A LOT of characters, many are one-off/guest characters but it's encouraged that VA's audition for multiple roles, especially for if we dub the entire series.
- This is a passion project, so no pay.

Tsubasa's cheerful personality and not-giving-up persona is known for making friends with other football players, even opponents for that matter.
Sanae Nakazawa is the chief of the Nankatsu cheerleaders' club. She's acts like a tomboy and wears boyish clothes for the cheerleader club and is prone to mood-swings . She fell in love with Tsubasa at almost first sight and is prone to feelings of jealousy when Tsubasa is seen with other girls or when other girls pay attention to him. Even when she's chearleading she tends to focus her attention on Tsubasa alone. After the time skip she acquires more feminine mannerisms and clothes, with some little mood swings from time to time. She's not too knowledgeable about football, though.

Taro is a shy and gentle boy. He is very analytical during games type and a very good observer when reading the flow of a match. This echoes in his playstyle as well, since he is not the aggressive type but prefers to assist and make passes rather than score himself.
Kojiro as a person is usually cold-hearted and reckless, due to his upbringing without part of his childhood dealing with the loss of his father. He can be very arrogant most of time. He is famous for his rough style of play which has caused injury on occasion and many players are scared of him. But to the people who are important like his family and friends he displays kindness and empathy.
Attention everyone! (pause for dramatic effect) I, Meiwa FC's captain, Kojiro Hyuga, announce to you all that my team will be the victors of the National Championship! Of course that also means we will, without a doubt be victorious in today's match!

He is a fairly reserved person and very strict with his training and a man of few words. Nonetheless, he's fierceful while on field, quite faithful to his best friends Hyuga and Sawada, and cold but polite in normal situations. Ken's biggest faults are his pride and slightly conceited attitude, especially regarding his worth as a player.

Despite being two years younger than most of main cast, Takeshi displays good dribbling techniques and feints and accurate passes. He serves as Kojiro's partner and looks up to him. Despite looking up to Hyuga, he realizes he cannot live up to him due to the difference in body type and tenacity, he aspires to be more like Misaki who is more skill-based than power-play based.
Ishizaki is Tsubasa's first friend in Nankatsu and known for his gutsy, cheerful and straight-forward personality. He has also some comic-relief moments and tends to have quarrels with Sanae and other teammates. But he is the mood maker and tries to lift the team's spirits when morale is down. He started out with a hopelessly weak team but his encounter with Tsubasa inspired him to try harder and improve his skills and eventually becomes a valuable member of the team.
Nakanishi is a goalkeeper who relies on his large stature to protect the goal. Despite that he does exhibit quick reflexes. He seeks to be the the top keeper in the national tournament seemingly for attention and popularity.
Rika is translator for the Japanese team in their trip to Paris. She was already a fan of Tsubasa whom she met at the airport. Her father works at the Japanese Embassy. Rika grew up in Europe and speaks several languages. Since she introduced herself to the Japanese team in France, it is likely that she masters French as well as the Japanese language. Rika seems to have a slight crush on Tsubasa, at least enough to make his actual love interest Sanae Nakazawa jealous. She does hug Tsubasa and give him a kiss on the cheek in the second film, but nothing else comes from it.
MALE VA PREFERRED - Try not to make the German accent too thick.
Schneider is kind and even likes to stroll his breed dog. He has patience and sport class. However, once on the field, he can become very serious and even ruthless, especially if his team is in a pinch. Nevertheless, he is a very noble and dignified player.
s a retired Japanese footballer and is an employee, primarily a talent scout of the Japan Football Association (JFA). He is determined to put together a strong team that can rival Europe and South America and put Japan on the map as one of the best football teams in the world.
Misaki, Hyuga, Nitta, Soda, the Tachibana twins, and Jito were all told to leave the training camp as per Coach Gamo's orders. He doesn't plan on using them for the first round. To top it off, Wakashimazu quit the team earlier today.
(After the 3rd tournament) These players who fought before are back better than ever. Not only that, new exceptional players have appeared. We will be able to form a world class team. Japan's era as finally come, with Tsubasa and Hyuga being the ones to lead this era and spread their wings around the world!
Mikami's role is limited but becomes more prominent in the OVA (Shin Captain Tsubasa). Mikami was the personal coach of Genzo Wakabayashi during his grade school years and. He later coaches the japan Jr. Squad and then he was chosen to be coach of U-19 Japan. In his prime, he was the goalkeeper of the Japanese national team.
Natsuko is a devoted mother and takes great care of her first son Tsubasa as a youngster as well as her husband and household. She is greatly understanding with Tsubasa's dream for becoming a pro football player in Brazil.
Personality-wise, she is very kind, charming and very straight-forward. she can also be slightly insensitive to other people's feelings. She is seen as a potential rival by Sanae. She develops feelings towards Misugi, Captain of her school's football team.
