Tabbar Navigation Issue

Hello,

I have an issue with the Tabbar navigation for IOS and before I specify the issue I would just like to let you guys know that I am new to mobile app development and Chocolate Chip UI framework. So as I was saying the issue it that the tabbar navigation does not work for my app it only stays selected for the #explorer article. I have the latest CHUI 3.9.1 version files.

Here is the example of the errors I get in the developer tools for chrome.

 I am also hiding the #global-nav using Robert Brigg's example for the #ux-trips article. Here is my custom js:

And here is the html:

I also have a slide-out menu which doesn't display but that is because of the #global-nav that I am hiding.

Any help will be appreciated.
