Between heavy car traffic and the streetcar tracks, H Street can be a hazardous place for bicyclists. DDOT has proposed four options to improve area bicycling, specifically by making improvements on two adjacent streets, G and I Streets NE.
Tomorrow (Monday, June 17), ANC 6A and ANC 6C will host a joint public meeting to address the issue of bicycling access in the H Street NE corridor. The joint meeting is being hosted by ANC 6A during its regularly scheduled Transportation and Public Space Committee at 7 p.m. at the Sherwood Recreation Center (640 10th St. NE). Come to learn about the proposed changes to improve east/west biking through the H Street NE area and offer feedback on the options.
