June is nearly here which means... #Read20 Summer Challenge time at Northwest One Library! 

Attached to this message are our June program calendar and fliers for our kick off party this Saturday as well as some of the special library programs happening all summer long.  Want to have NW1 Library staff come promote #Read20 to a group? Summer Challenge Basics 

Did you know that reading just 20 minutes each day keeps your mind active and engaged over the summer?  Kids, teens, adults -- even babies -- can get in on the fun this summer with the DC Public Library's Summer Challenge. Participate online at dclibrary.org/summerchallenge or through the Beanstack mobile app.

1. Sign up online or visit Northwest One for a paper gameboard (available here in English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Amharic)

2. Read 20 minutes each day and log your progress (books, magazines, blogs, etc)

3. Earn prizes each month - pick them up at the library while supplies last after the follow dates:

• June 20 -- A free book

• July 20 -- Two tickets to a Washington Nationals baseball game 

• August -- Keep reading all month to be eligible for a Grand Prize Drawing
