New issue 139 by christc...@gmail.com: Can't open files
http://code.google.com/p/chmsee/issues/detail?id=139

I downloaded the newest tag zip file (chmsee-v1.99.05) from the github,
unzipped it in my ~/Software folder and run with xulrunner
~/Software/chmsee/application.ini... So far so good (the red homepage with
the quote from The Book of Mozilla).

But when I tried to open any chm files the page never changes... however if
I click on words on the quote the page will be correctly redirected to
mozilla.org. From there I still can't open any chm file. This is causing
quite a bit of headache for my afternoon... Please do tell me what to do.
Thanks!

Yes, I tried the modification of application.ini and deleting .chmsee
folder in my home directory but nothing worked...

Did you ever build libxpcomchm.so in the src directory?

BTW, I've just update chmsee to v1.99.06 to work with firefox 8.0.

Ah... I re-make the new tag and, well, with a lot of effort since somehow
this time chmlib didn't seem to work very properly--I had to manually
import chmlib code, but IT WORKED in the end! Finally, yay!!!
