Location: DC-District of Columbia/Washington

The Client email, instant messaging and Domino applications are based on IBM Lotus Domino technology.
The servers are running Domino 8.5x and remote locations have mixed mail and applications servers.:
Messaging and Application environment supports 16,000+ users and based on MS Windows based servers, Several servers have been clustered (Two, Four-Way) for high availability and for business continuity.
Instant messaging and Web conference service is offered based SameTime servers
Several servers providing various domino applications on clustered configuration,
About 100 servers at Washington D.C. office and additional 100 remote servers on various country offices across the world.
Client Lotus Domino based mail and application servers are critical systems for Bank’s business:
Improve server stability, deliver service with in the budget
Continue to improve existing system availability to support 24/7 services
Improve performance and support growth
To implement the review, IMTTE is contracting Notes Admin services of an external vendor to perform notes server administration.
The Notes System Administrator level III should fulfill the following requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of Relevant experience with IBM Lotus products (R7 and above) for messaging and collaborations, such as Messaging, SMTP Gateways, Quick place, Sametime in a large user base.
Experience with relevant server platforms and operating systems (Windows and Unix), security (RSA), directory services (LDAP), SMTP/MIME
Must be willing to work flexible hours. Candidate must be willing to work any of the three shifts covering 24x7. Work week will be 5 shifts and may cover weekend.
Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the messaging team.
Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations
Solid project management skills in planning and monitoring projects in a cross-functional environment
Effective teamwork and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, in a multicultural environment
Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rappor, persuades others, and gains understanding

Deliverables and Duties:
Specifically, Notes System Administrator will perform the following services from
Notes/Domino System Administrator level III is responsible for ensuring optimum information access, providing consistency and synchronization across all platforms, and integrating other systems and technologies.
The incumbent works with messaging team to refine the conceptual application delivery systems design requirements into a technical design consisting of program specifications.
A primary responsibility is for system performance optimization, maintenance and production support. The incumbent works with other messaging team members in solving the range of enterprise interoperability and integration issues that may exist in the messaging environment
Ensure high availability of messaging services to end users
Perform necessary tasks for integrity of the messaging system
Implement and adhere to security procedures
Implement hardware and systems software upgrades to existing servers:
Match hub server certification to name & address book (NAB) certification
Plan, diagram, and implement mail routing; identify server locations, replication and remote connections
Plan and implement hardware and software upgrades to existing hub servers as needed ; Maintain disaster recovery server site; Execute maintenance plans for hub server locations
Ensure messaging database and network optimization:
Support and troubleshoot as required, optimizing performance, resolving production problems, and; Provide timely follow-up on problem reports
Plan, schedule, and conduct system tests, monitor test results, and take required corrective action
Perform daily messaging administrative tasks, including:
Corporate messaging hub server monitoring and maintenance
Coordinate systems developing activities with other groups (especially network engineering), reviewing deliverables and communicating status with management
Provide technical direction and training to other IT personnel; Solve interoperability issues
Engage in capacity planning and monitoring messaging database growth; Aid in design of database templates/schemas
Source data from legacy systems that are to be loaded into warehouse; provide extracts of data from the warehouse back to operational systems
Enhance and maintain messaging system, and perform structural changes when necessary
Create and maintain task automation and monitoring tools
Evaluate new applications for resource impact and assist in troubleshooting malfunctioning applications
